Endorsed by professional chefs & already exporting worldwide, Evogro is now expanding with plans to launch new products for luxury homes.
If you’re interested, please register now with zero commitment. You’ll be front of the queue once the opportunity goes live and you’ll be kept up-to-date on the campaign.
Reducing waste & food miles while delivering consistent freshness, flavour & quality, personalised for each owner’s tastes.
We see Personal Vertical Farms as a new category of appliance & we estimate a market opportunity exceeding £1bn pa.
Equity crowdfunding gives individuals the opportunity to invest in Evogro and become shareholders in the business. Instead of simply supporting the campaign or pre-ordering a product, you are buying shares in Evogro.
As with any early-stage investment, your capital is at risk and shares may be difficult to sell, so you should only invest money you can afford to lose.
We believe Evogro has reached an important stage in its development.
Over the past few years we’ve been developing our technology and today it is used by professional chefs across Michelin-starred restaurants, hotels, gastropubs and bars, members’ clubs, caterers, colleges and corporates. We’ve also begun to expand outside the UK and we’re already exporting to Europe, the Middle East, Asia & Australia.
We now have plans to launch new products for luxury homes and expand globally.
The funds raised will primarily support three areas: launching our next-generation E5 cabinet platform, expanding sales and marketing into new customer segments, and growing our international distribution.
We are offering new investors up to £500,000 of A Ordinary Shares through this round.
Existing shareholders have also pledged £238,000 of additional investment to match new investment in the round at the same £12 share price.
The investment round is being conducted at a £5.9 million fully diluted pre-money valuation, with shares priced at £12 each.
The company has received HMRC Advance Assurance that this round is eligible as an EIS Knowledge Intensive investment.
EIS can provide qualifying UK investors with a number of tax benefits, but eligibility depends on your individual circumstances. You should take independent tax advice if you are considering investing on the basis of EIS relief.
Investors receive A Ordinary Shares in Evogro Ltd.
These shares carry voting and dividend rights and benefit from pre-emption rights on future share issues, subject to Evogro’s Articles of Association.
Investments of £10,000 or more are held directly, while investments below £10,000 are generally held through Crowdcube Nominees on the investor’s behalf.
Alongside becoming a shareholder, investors can receive additional rewards depending on the amount invested.
Rewards range from access to Evogro events through to Evogro merchandise, experiences with our customers and discounts on future Evogro cabinets.
The full reward levels and eligibility are shown on our Crowdcube campaign page.
There is no guaranteed return or fixed timetable.
Potential returns could ultimately come through events such as the sale of shares, an acquisition of Evogro, another liquidity event or future dividends. However, Evogro shares are not publicly traded and may be difficult to sell.
As with any early-stage investment, you should be prepared for the possibility of losing your entire investment.
