After a challenging couple of years in the food service and hospitality industry, the Evogro team were looking forward to attending a live event. The chance to physically shake hands, have face to face conversations and enjoy three days of meeting new and current customers was an exciting prospect after a long period of lock-down restrictions.

The HRC, formerly known as Holelympia is the UK’s most reputable event for the foodservice and hospitality industry, attracting professionals from every facet of the hospitality industry to network, demonstrate and discuss new technology.

The Evogro team were eager to exhibit this year and meet as many people as possible. We took two cabinets to display, with over 60 varieties of herbs, microgreens and salad leaves. Members of the grow team set up a tasting station so visitors could view the crops up close and enjoy the taste and smell of the crop selection

The feedback we got from a wide variety of people within the hospitality industry was very positive and reassuring and we thoroughly enjoyed the chance to explain the system in person. The Evogro system initially attracted the attention of professional chefs who have very high standards and demand the best quality produce for their customers. Today we have leading professional chefs and bartenders working across the hospitality sector in restaurants, hotels, bars, pubs, clubs, contract caterers and colleges. We have had an increase in people who are interested in the system for domestic use and have a number of customers who are enjoying the Evogro experience in their own homes.

Exhibiting at the HRC was a very positive experience for Evogro and gave the industry confidence that the future is very bright indeed.
